Kalliyan moved through the markey place, her stomach growling as she smelled the sweets scents of the food that people were hawking to one another. She had tried holding her breath as she passed by the stands, but they were far to many and she was getting dizzy from the lack of oxygen. Her hand fingering the empty purse on her belt. The only piece of clothing that fit, the others hung off her small frame. Ignoring the noise, she slipped past a couple that had a fat purse and lifted it quickly.
The purse was hidden in the folds of her lose clothing, she moved onto find another purse to lift. She had been out of business for a few days. There was rumors of a thief in town, of course there were always those rumors, but when the discription was close to her own, she had nothing to do but stop and lay low. So, she left the city and stayed in the woods. Which was not the best of ideas. Sleeping on the ground with a stick or rock in your spine was no fun. And resulted in a lack of sleep that cause Kalli to yawn a lot.
Once she was hidden in one of the shadows, she pulled the purse out and openned it looking inside. There was few coins, but not as much as she had thought. She had hopped to enter ther carnival but she had missed it and the fat purse that she was sure she would of been able to collect.
Putting the purse away once again, she looked around a hand moved brushing a few of her dark strains of hair from her face as she did. She stepped into the crowd once again. Looking for the next person she was going to release of their coins.

For a peasant Ryan was cocky. He liked to subtly taunt the vampires to act like tough shit. Of course, he would never raise a hand against them, he'd be crushed. Even after years and years of training it seemed as if his body had hit its slump. Sure he was ripped, but he wasn't improving. He wasn't getting faster, he wasn't getting stronger.
And this was pretty upsetting. The vampires were like, THE race. THE race. And the humans were what, worthless? Nah, it couldn't stay like that forever. Could it? He had to get better, he just had to. So this was all on his mind as he idly walked the marketplace, trying to put all his thoughts into one big picture.
It was by chance that the 6'1" broad shouldered Ryan ran into the girl Kalliyan. Normally he would have noticed a girl coming right towards him, but his mind was just too focused. Or maybe it was unfocused. Nevertheless, he bumped into her and apologized, trying to right themselves. He grasped her around both of her arms to steady their balance and smiled.
"Sorry about that, guess I wasn't paying attention."
